About Ebenezer Akakpo

Maine Culture is owned and operated by designer, artist, and tradesman, Ebenezer Akakpo. Ebenezer moved to Portland, Maine from Ghana where he combines the influences of his native land and adopted home in his art and design.

Ebenezer also designs Ghanian inspired jewelry for Akakpo & Co. and is active in the Better Maker Water Project: A joint partnership with B9 Plastics, a non-profit organization dedicated to social and environmental improvements through plastics, with an ultra violet light water purification system.

Ebenezer is active in Portland, Maine’s growing entrepreneurial immigrant community.
